Materials

11" x 17" paper 12" x 18" tagboard or poster board computer and printer laminator, optional binding machine, optional

Instructions

1. Make a class big book (approximately 11" x 17") using one of your favorite songs about rain.

2. Print the text using a large font on your computer (if a computer is not available, use a felt-tip pen).

Decorate the cover of the big book with an appropriate picture. For example, use a duck wearing a raincoat, rain hat, and boots in the rain.

5. Laminate the covers and the pages, if desired.

6. Bind the pages together between the covers using a binding machine, if available.

7. Share the big book with the class and then put it in your reading area.
