Instructions
1. To get the children ready for story time or put them in a lively musical mood
read Mama Don't Allow. Follow the reading with the song found in the back
cover of the book.
2. Teach the children how to "play" air instruments to accompany the song.
Start with instruments found in the book, such as a guitar, trumpet, drum,
and saxophone. Then try others, such as the piano, harmonica, and fiddle.
3. Sing the song, improvise verses, and "play" instruments of choice when you
and the children have a spare moment to fill.
