Bread, one slice per child3" (9 cm) diameter circle cookie cutters or jar lids
Plastic spoons and knives
Orange-colored cheese spread (at room temperature)
Sliced olives
Pimentos
Instructions
1. Cut off the bottom of a container below the handle.
2. Tie a piece of string or rope to a ball. Tie the other end of the string to the
handle of the container.
3. Encourage the children to hold the handle and swing the ball, trying to "capture"
it in the container.
4. The length of the string or rope varies the degree of difficulty.
* For the greatest success, the whole body must maintain a slow, rocking
back-and-forth motion.
