Instructions
1. Choose fabric squares that have different textures and patterns (dots,
stripes, prints, solids, furry, smooth, satin, and so on).
2. Glue each fabric square to a cardboard square. Be sure to make more
than one square of each fabric pattern.
3. Keep all of the fabric squares in one large box so that the children can
sort through them and find the squares that match.
More to do Games: You can also arrange the fabric squares in lines on the floor,
flipping them over so that the cardboard side is facing up. The child can
then play a traditional matching memory game, turning over two squares
at a time until all of the matching pairs are found.
