Instructions

1. Select five children to be frogs. Teach the children the song "Five Speckled
Frogs."
2. One child at a time pretends to jump off the log and into the pool by
following the song.
3. If possible, give each child a turn as you transition to another activity.
More to do Make five frog headbands out of construction paper and staple them to fit a
child's head. Make a "speckled log" from construction paper, and a pool out of
blue construction paper or blue cloth. Select five children to be frogs. Have
each child put on a headband and sit on the log.
