Instructions
1. Find pictures that depict the different life stages of a butterfly: egg, caterpillar,
chrysalis, and butterfly.
2. Glue the pictures to a piece of tag board and cut them out.
3. Cover the shapes with clear contact paper or laminate them.
4. Attach Velcro to the fingertips of a work glove and the backs of the pictures.
5. Use the glove to tell stories or fingerplays about a butterfly.

Raise a caterpillar in the classroom. Make a class book describing the children's
