Instructions

1. Send a note home to parents asking them to bring in an ingredient to make
trail mix. Each child should bring in a different ingredient. Note: Check for
allergies. Some ideas are:
* Cheerios
* Pretzels
* M & M's
* Raisins
* Peanuts
* Dried fruit
* Mini-marshmallows
* Chocolate chips
* Banana chips
* Mini teddy grahams and sandwich cookies
2. Ask the children to sit in a circle. Give each child a plastic bag.
3. Pass around the ingredients one at a time. Encourage the children to put a
little bit of each ingredient into their baggies. This way, they can choose what
they like and pass on what they don't like.
4. Eat the "Friendship Mix" together!
