Instructions

1. The best way to get children's attention is through music. Children love
music and anything can be made into a song. You don't have to be a writer
or a musician all you have to do is put what you want to say into a tune.
2. You can make up your own tune, or simply pick a familiar tune such as
"London Bridge," and sing it!
3. Here are a few transition songs:
Find Your Mat (or Sit-Upon) (Tune: "London Bridge")
Find your mat and have a seat,
Have a seat, have a seat.
Find your mat and have a seat,
It is story (or other) time.
(Tune: "If You're Happy and You Know It")
Find your mat and have a seat, have a seat.
Find your mat and have a seat, have a seat.
Find your mat and have a seat,
On your bottom, not your feet.
Find your mat and have a seat, have a seat.

Walking Feet (Tune: "Rock Around the Clock")
Walking feet, walking feet,
We must use our walking feet,
We've got to walk, walk, walk, down the hall,
Walking feet so we won't fall,
Walking feet, down the hall we go!
