Instructions
1. Read both books to the children.
2. Draw a line down the middle of a sheet of white paper.
3. On one side write, "The Same," and on the other side write, "Different."
4. Ask the children if the rabbits lived in the same place or in different places.
Did they look the same or different? Continue looking at the similarities and
differences between the rabbits.
5. Encourage children to create their own comparing and contrasting questions.
6. Record their observations on the chart.
More to do
As a follow-up, make a second chart. Draw a line down the middle of a piece of
paper. On one side write, "Pet" and on the other side write, "Wild." Ask questions
such as where do pets sleep? Where do wild rabbits sleep?
