Instructions
1. Show the children how you use your face to express a variety of emotions:
sad, happy, surprise, anger, puzzlement, grumpy, worried, scared, sorry,
sleepy, shy, and silly.
2. Encourage the children to practice making a variety of faces in the mirrors.
3. This activity is fun for children because they enjoy making the different faces.
You can further aid their understanding of these feelings by talking about each
emotion. For example, "I feel sad when Amanda won't play with me," or "I
feel happy when Ethan shares a toy."
