Personalized Name Plates

Materials

8 1/2 " x 11" sheets of white card stock

Instructions

1. Give each child a sheet of card stock. Ask them to fold their paper
lengthwise.
2. Ask the children to print their name on their card. Help them as needed.
3. Encourage the children to decorate their name using markers and crayons.
Encourage them to be creative. For example, a name with several circular
letters could become the faces of each family member. A child who likes to
skate may turn an "A" into a skater. A child who likes ice cream may turn a
"V" into an ice cream cone.
4. The children can use their name plates to mark their desk, table, or storage
unit.
