Instructions

1. This is a fun activity for letter sequencing. Trace penguins on paper and
cut out 26 penguin shapes.
2. Write a letter of the alphabet on each penguin. Or, if children are older,
cut out or draw pictures of items representing each letter of the
alphabet on each penguin (apple, bat, car, dog, and so on).
3. For added strength, glue all the penguin shapes to poster board.
4. Laminate them for durability, and cut out the shapes.
5. Put the penguins in a container and place them in a center with a pocket
chart.
6. The child places the penguins in alphabetical order according to the
letter or sound of the picture on the front of the penguins.
