Materials

Six 2-liter bottles

sand or small pebbles

stickers

paper or metallic party grass

ball or beanbag for each child

masking tape

Instructions

1. Fill each bottle with 1 cup of sand or pebbles for stability. Add party grass and
decorate the outside with theme-appropriate stickers or picture. Secure lids
so the sand and grass do not spill out.
2. Arrange the six bottles in a triangle shape and use masking tape to mark a
place on the floor for bowlers to stand.
3. Give each child a ball or beanbag to play with while waiting for her turn.
4. The children take turns bowling by tossing their beanbags at the bottles.
5. Encourage the children to cheer on their classmates and applaud all their
efforts.
