Instructions

1. Without the children seeing, hide an alarm clock somewhere in the room. Set
it to go off about five minutes after you hide it.
2. Gather the children together and explain that they are to use their senses to
find the clock.
3. When the alarm sounds, encourage the children to search for the clock.
4. When the clock is found, ask the children to explain how they found it and
which senses they used.
5. For children who have a hearing impairment, hide a flashlight with or instead
of the clock.
More to do
Hide a small radio or a music box instead of a clock.
Ask the children to cover their eyes and use only their sense of hearing to find an
object.
