Materials

simple pancake mix

water

bowl

squeeze bottle

electric skillet (adult only)

pancake turner

syrup

Instructions

1. Make the pancake batter with the children's help (make several small
batches).
2. Fill a squeeze bottle with pancake batter.
3. Invite each child to use the squeeze bottle to create numerals on the electric
skillet. Safety Note: Supervise this step closely! Make sure the griddle is cool
before allowing children to squeeze batter on it. You may want to have the
children name a numeral and you squeeze the batter on the griddle.
4. Cook the numeral pancakes away from the children.
5. Serve for snack with syrup.
