Instructions
1. Send a note home announcing a Pajama Party Day, when all of the
children and their teachers will wear pajamas and slippers to school.
Encourage the children to bring special blankets, pillows, or stuffed
animals.
2. On Pajama Party Day, encourage the children to take turns telling the class
what kind of pajamas they are wearing and talking about what they do at
night before they go to bed.
3. At story time or nap time, have them lie on their blankets to listen to
stories or soothing music.
4. For math, use a floor graph to chart what kind of slippers the children are
wearing. Help them sort the colors of the pajamas.
5. At the end of the day, have the children tell what they liked best about the
day. Write down their thoughts to use for a morning message the next day.
