four pieces of 12" x 15" poster board

scissors

markers or colored pencils

Instructions

1. This is a great way to reinforce hand
washing and make potty breaks fun.
After each child has washed his
hands, pretend a paper towel is a
ghost or other appropriate seasonal
object and have it "fly" around the
child's head until he catches it and
dries his hands.
2. Before the child washes his hands,
place the towel on his head and ask him to try to balance it while washing,
then remove it to use for drying.
3. When the child is ready to dry his hands, hold the towel perpendicular in
front of him. Let the child clap his hands on the towel, and look at the wet
handprint. Then use the towel to dry.
