Instructions

1. Make hats and masks using the patterns below. Trace the patterns onto
construction paper and cut out. Color or paint details, cut out eye holes, and
attach yarn to go around a child's head.
2. Show children how to make popcorn bags by coloring red stripes on white
lunch bags.
3. Help the children pop popcorn and put some in each bag.
4. Cut oak tag into ticket-size pieces. Make circus tickets that read, "Admit One
to the Circus!"
5. Help the children hang streamers and balloons. Invite parents in for "circus
day."
6. Children can play different roles, such as lions, tigers, acrobats, tightrope
walkers, ringmasters, and so on.
