Copy of favorite poems, songs, fingerplays, and rhymes

1. Throughout the year, make copies of age-appropriate poems from a variety of
sources, such as children's poetry books, magazines, the Internet, and so on.
2. If desired, add a corresponding illustration or photograph to each poetry
page for easy identification.
3. Place each page into a separate sheet protector.
4. If desired, glue poems to the backs of stick puppets for the children to
handle. Put these in a sheet protector, also.
5. Put the pages in a three-ring binder or bind them with a binding machine.
6. Label the front of the book with an appropriate title.
7. Keep in the reading area for children to enjoy all year long.
