Instructions

1. Talk about how important exercise is to our bodies to keep us healthy. Ask
the children if they exercise.
2. Give each child a jump rope and play music while children jump. Talk about
how jumping rope is a great way to keep their hearts in good shape.
3. Let children make special water bottles to keep hydrated during workouts.
Give each child an inexpensive plastic water bottle.
4. Encourage them to decorate their bottles by finger painting polka dots or
putting stickers on their bottles. Help them write their names on the bottles
with a permanent marker. Explain how it is important to stay hydrated when
they exercise.
