Instructions
1. Have the children stand in a circle. Place a numeral in the middle of the circle. Talk about what number it is. Ask the children to say the name of the number name and count to that number.
2. The children start walking around the number on the floor while singing the following song to the tune of "Here We Go "Round the Mulberry Bush."Walk around the number ___, the number ___, the number ___.Walk around the number ___, so early in the morning!3. After the children have sung the song, have them call out the number and then count to that number.
4. Change the numeral each time the children sing the song.
