Materials

5 beanbags labeled 1 to 5

Instructions

1. Ask a child to choose a partner.

2. The child tosses the beanbags to the other child in random order. As the child catches a beanbag, she calls out the numeral printed on the beanbag.

3. When all five have been tossed to the catcher, she puts them in the correct order and counts them again out loud to the first player.

4. For the second part of the game, the catcher becomes the beanbag thrower and repeats the steps with her partner.

5. Increase the challenge of the game by adding five more beanbags with the numerals 6 to 10 written on them.
