Instructions

1. Here's an easy activity that you can bring out at any time to enrich children's
minds and entertain hands for a few minutes.
2. Hot glue (adult only) the small lids around the inside edge of the large lid.
Hot glue (adult only) the small cup to the center of the large lid.
3. Place one number on each small lid, placing the 1 at the top of the circle of
lids and continuing clockwise from there. Store everything in a plastic bag.
4. When there are times the children must wait, bring out these bags and some
buttons. Give one bag to each child. Let the children experiment with the
materials in the bag.
5. Point out the numbers on each lid. Ask the child, "What number do you think
this is?"
6. After the child answers, say "So, how many buttons do you think you should
put in this lid?"
