Instructions

1. Try this activity, which is a variation of Show and Tell, when you have a few
extra minutes during group or circle time.
2. Instead of having the children simply show their item to the class, have them
place it in a bag and bring clues written on paper (parents help with this).
3. Have three clues about the item. The rest of the class tries to guess what the
item is that the child brought to share.
4. The child can call on her classmates to see what they think she brought to
school. The clues can include things such as the item's color, whether it is an
animal or not, its name, what you can do with the item, and so on.
5. The clues keep all the children involved in the sharing and guessing process.
