Instructions
1. This game is great when you are trying to transition the children to a quiet
time. It also teaches many skills, including listening skills, language
acquisition, and how to pay attention.
2. First learn the song and then add the actions.
The eensy weensy spider went up the water spout.
(move fingers up like a spider)
Down came the rain and washed the spider out. (move fingers down like rain)
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain. (make a big circle with hands)
And the eensy weensy spider went up the spout again.
(move fingers up like a spider)
3. After learning the song, hum the tune and use the actions.
4. Next, no singing, only the actions. You'll be amazed at how quiet the
children are!
