Materials

White construction paper

Construction paper or tissue paper in various colors

Scissors

Glue

Markers

3" by 5" index cards

Chart paper

Instructions

1. Tape contact paper to a table with the sticky side up.
2. Place bits of red tissue paper in a single layer on one side of the sticky paper.
Then add bits of yellow tissue paper on the other side of the paper.
3. Fold the sticky paper in half. Put it in a sunny window and watch what
happens when the red and yellow tissue overlap.

After placing bits of tissue on the paper, use a pattern or stencil outline to cut
around it. This will make an object with bits of paper showing through. Hang it in
a sunny window to get the full effect. Also experiment with mixing different
colored tissue paper.
