Instructions

1. Ask the children to lie on the floor, on their backs, all facing the same
direction.
2. Close the curtains and turn off the lights to make the room as dark as possible.
3. Lie down with the children on the floor. Use the beam of the flashlight to
"write" letters, shapes, or numbers on the wall or ceiling.
4. Ask the children to name the letters, numbers, and so on that they see.
