Instructions
1. Help the children cut a piece of cardboard into 3" x 3" (7 cm x 7 cm)
squares.
2. Give each child a square. Encourage the children to glue a different textured
item (see list) to one side of their cardboard.
3. When the glue is dry, use a hot glue gun to attach a cork to the empty side of
the cardboard (adult only). A texture stamp!
4. Pour paint into shallow containers.
5. Using the cork as a grip, the children
can dip each texture stamp
into paint and press it onto
paper to create a texture
print.

make a stamp for them to use.
