Instructions

1. Take pictures of the children doing various activities throughout the day.
2. After the pictures are developed, glue each one on a piece of card stock.
Label them. For example, "Hanging Up Our Coats," "Eating Our Snack," and
so on.
3. Show the pictures at circle time and ask the children to tell each other what is
happening in the photo.
4. Use a pocket chart to put the pictures in the correct order from first to last.
5. Leave the photos at a table and let the children practice putting them in
sequential order.
More to do
Give each child a picture. Help the children work together to put them all in
sequential order. Ask them to explain what is happening in their picture.
Home Connection: Ask the parents to help the children write and draw pictures
of what happens during their day.
Math: Buy two copies of a book one to read and one to cut up. Ask the
children to put the story in sequential order.
