Scraps of old crayons

Egg carton or sectioned container

Small food processor

Wax paper

Cup warmer or hot plate (with adult supervision)

Instructions

1. Beforehand, cut out bookmarks from cardboard.2. Give the children their bookmarks and encourage them to paint them a brightcolor.3. Allow the bookmarks to dry.4. Help the children glue green pompoms onto their bookmarks to make a caterpillar.5. Glue eyes onto the caterpillar bookmarks.
