Instructions
1. One of the hardest transitions during the day is when
children are waiting in line to wash their hands
before snack or lunch.
2. Assign a daily "soap dispenser." This child's job is to
take the liquid soap dispenser and pump one squirt
into each child's hand as they wait in line. (This also
prevents waste of the soap.)
3. As an added manners lesson, when the soap
dispenser puts the soap into a child's hand, the child
must say, "Thank you" and the dispenser must say,
"You're welcome."
4. The children are occupied rubbing the soap into
their hands and are ready to wash and rinse
their hands when they reach the sink.
