Instructions

1. Read a camping book to the children.
2. Help the children set up a pop-up tent complete with a sleeping bag and
folding chair.
3. Make a campfire (without the fire!) using small twigs, logs, and branches.
4. Make s'mores for snack. Put a large marshmallow on a stick, toast it in an
EASY-BAKE Oven, and place the marshmallow and a chocolate square
between two graham crackers. Adults should closely supervise this step.
5. Have a class "camp-out party." Ask each child to bring in a sleeping bag (or a
blanket if a sleeping bag is not available), a pillow, and a stuffed toy. The
children can pretend to camp out during naptime.
