Instructions

1. Distribute a sheet of newspaper to each child in the class along with a
marker. Explain that they are going to mark every letter A they see in
their newspapers.
2. Encourage them to scan the newspaper pages and circle as many A's as
they can find. Help them, as needed.
3. Continue this game with other letters.
More to do Have children find numbers, pictures of living things and non-living things,
and so on.
