Materials

Green, blue, and white construction paper, one sheet of each for each child

Pencil

Scissors

Crayons

Large plastic eggs, divided in half

Glue

Instructions

1. Using a pencil, draw each child's first initial on an index card.
2. Punch holes along the outline of the initial, leaving about 1/2 " in between each
hole.
3. Cut the yarn into large strips, and wrap one end of each strip with tape to
prevent fraying. Make a knot at the other end.
4. Give each child a strip of yarn and her index card. Help the children sew
around their initial.
More to do
Fold 3" x 5" index cards in half, and punch holes along the open edges.
Encourage the children to sew the cards closed with the yarn.
