roll of magnetic tape

photos of each child

magnetic board

Instructions

1. Give the children their photos and strips of magnetic tape to attach to
the backs of their pictures.
2. Divide the magnet board with lines for graphing. Label different
categories, such as boy or girl; blonde, brown, black, or red hair; blue,
brown, or green eyes; favorite sandwich; favorite ice cream flavor; and so
on.
3. Have the children put their photos in the appropriate column.
4. After they have made their choices, discuss which column has the most
pictures, which has the least, and so on.
