Instructions
1. Place a variety of classroom items in a large basket or tub.
2. Introduce this activity at a circle time, letting the children take turns.
3. Name an item in the container. Tell the child where to put the item.
("Billy, find the red car and place it under a chair.")
4. Near the end of the activity, change the directions and have the children
put the various items back into the container.
5. Let the children take turns instructing other children where to put items.
More to do At the end of free play/center time, ask the children to come to the circle
area and leave their toys out. Play the "Listen and Do" game by having
children put the items away.
