Instructions

1. When cleanup time begins, sing the following song to the tune of "One Little
Elephant Went Out to Play."
On a bright and sunny day
(Your room name) decided to go out and play.
When the cleaning up was done,
Everyone went out to have some fun.
2. Ask, "Is the cleaning up done?" If the answer is "yes," then head outdoors. If
the answer is "no," sing the song again.
3. Continue until the room is clean.
4. As a variation, encourage individual children by adding their names to the
song. For example:
On a bright and sunny day
Sarah decided to go out and play.
