Life cycle pictures from old science books Construction paper, various colors

Glue Felt

Flannel board

Instructions

1. Cut out pictures showing the life cycle of a frog, butterfly, chicken, robin, etc.

2. Mount the stages of each on a piece of construction paper, using a different color for each animal.

3. Laminate the pictures, then back them with felt.

4. Let the children pick an animal or insect and arrange the pictures of its life cycle in proper sequence on the flannel board.More to doGames: Have a child dramatize a stage in the life cycle of one of the animals. The other children can guess which stage and which animal it is.
