What to do
1. In advance enlarge the letter B on tag board and cut it out.
2. Fold a piece of construction paper in half like a card.
3. Trace the letter B pattern against the folded edge of the paper. Make one card for each child.
4. Encourage each child to cut around and in the holes of their letter, but not along the folded
edge.
5. Then have them open the letter up to form a butterfly.
6. Give each child two pieces of pipe cleaner. Show the children how to glue the pieces on one
end to look like antennas. Let dry.
7. Finally, add an assortment of butterfly stickers for decoration.
8. Hang from ceiling and voila! You have beautiful butterflies breezing through your classroom.
