Materials

4" x 6" (10 cm x 15 cm) file cards 3" x 5" (7.5 cm x 12.5 cm) file cards

Pictures of foods, four of each Glue and scissors

Laminating machine or contact paper, optional Markers

Instructions

To prepare the game:1. Use the 4" x 6" cards to make four to six shopping lists and print shopping lists on each card.

2. On the 3" x 5" cards glue a picture of each food on the shopping list. This will be your draw pile of cards.

3. Laminate the cards if you wish.To play the game:1. Give each child a shopping list card.

2. Place the pictures of the food face down in a pile.

3. Have one child draw a card and look at his shopping list.

4. If the food is on the list he gets to keep it. If not, he places it back in the pile.

5. When a child finds all the foods on his list, he is finished shopping.
