Materials

10 die-cut frogsmarkerblue plastic round tablecloth or blue butcher paper cut into a circle10 small green party plates or small cardboard pizza bottoms and green paint

Instructions

1. On each frog, draw a number of spots to coordinate with the numerals 0 to 9.

2. Make lily pads using small green party plates or small pizza bottoms. If using pizza cardboard, paint them green.

3. Number the lily pads from 0 to 9.

4. Show the children the new "pond." Tell them that each frog is lost and needs help finding her home on the right lily pad.

5. The children match the number of spots on the frogs to the numbers on the lily pads.

6. Let each child take a turn playing the game.
