Materials
Assorted leaves and flowers (dried and pressed)Clear contact paper, 12" x 12" (30 cm x 30 cm) per child
Yarn, cut in 6" (15 cm) lengths
Name of each child written on 2" x 3" (5 cm x 8 cm) pieces of construction paper
Instructions
1. Help the children write their names on construction paper. Set aside.
2. Reveal half of the contact paper by peeling back the protective layer and folding it back. Holdpaper in place as the child explores the sticky surface.
3. Encourage the children to place their name and the yarn at the top edge, looping the yarn sothat it creates a hanger. Then have the children place dry leaves and flowers flat onto the stickycontact paper.
4. When complete, reveal the second half of the contact paper and help the children fold it overand smooth it out flat. Hang the finished work in the window for all to enjoy.
