Materials

Fresh fall leaves

Clear contact paper cut into squares

Scissors

Magnet strip

Glue

Instructions

1. Take the children outdoors and have them gather some colorful leaves.
2. When you get back to the classroom, ask the children to tear the leaves into small pieces and
place them on a piece of contact paper.
3. Show the children how to fold the piece of contact paper in half and smooth the wrinkles.
4. Cut the contact paper in the shape of a leaf.
5. Help the children attach a magnet on the back of the shape.
