Instructions

1. Pour half of the juice concentrate (6 oz.) into a measuring cup.

2. Add 3 envelopes of unflavored gelatin to the juice.

3. Pour 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) water into a saucepan and boil it on a hot plate or stove (adult only). Add it to the gelatin and juice.

4. Stir the mixture until the gelatin dissolves.

5. Add the rest of the juice concentrate and 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) cold water.

6. Spray small bowls with spray oil and give one to each child. Put a piece of masking tape on each bowl and help the children write their names on it.

7. Encourage the children to ladle the gelatin mixture into their bowls.

8. Place the bowls in the refrigerator.

9. While the gelatin is chilling, help the children cut their licorice pieces into thirds.

10. When the gelatin is firm (but not too firm), remove the bowls from the refrigerator and give them to the children.

11. Encourage the children to stick their licorice pieces into the gelatin, making sure half of each piece is sticking out.

12. Put the gelatin into the refrigerator to finish firming.

13. Take the gelatin out of the bowls. Turn them upside down so the licorice is hanging down. Jellyfish!More to doMake Balloon Jellyfish. Put flour into a balloon. Tie the end and squeeze it gently to watch it move.
