Instructions

1. Pour glitter paint into trays or paint containers.2. Give each child a large paintbrush and a toilet paper tube.3. Encourage the children to paint the outside of their tubes as desired, using asmany paint colors as desired.4. Use a permanent marker to write each child's name inside his tube.5. Place the tubes upright on a tray or other drying surface. Make sure it is not apapered surface because the tube will stick to it in the drying process.More to doScience: Hang paper stars on the walls andceiling of the room. Encourage the childrento use their tubes to locate the stars.More Science: Place glow-in-the-darkcosmic shapes under a tabletop and put adark colored blanket or sheet overthe table. Then encourage thechild to take his tube under thetable to spot the glowing stars andshapes. If the shapes stop glowing,use a bright flashlight to start theglowing again!
