Instructions

2. Look at a calendar together. Talk about and count out the days and weeks.

3. Show the children the daily schedule and talk about how much time you have allotted for each activity.

4. Show the classroom clock to the children. Point out the length of a minute, five minutes, half an hour, and an hour.

5. Ask the children questions about time, such as:* How long does it take you to brush your teeth? Hours or minutes?* How long does it take you to get to school? Minutes or weeks?* How long do you sleep at night? Minutes or hours?* How long does it take for plants to grow? Weeks or minutes?6. Think of other time concept questions to ask the children.
