Instructions

1. If you work in a school where the parents bring in the snacks each day, then
this timesaving tip will work for you. Depending on the number of children in
your class, you may need to adjust this idea to suit your needs.
2. At the beginning of the year when you meet with all of the parents, assign a
number to each child. This can be done to correspond with the alphabetical
listing of the class.
3. Explain to the parents that whatever number their child is assigned is the day
of the month that they will need to bring in the class snack each month. They
will have the same date each month, but not the same day of the week.
4. This way parents won't easily forget what day of the month to send in a snack
because it will always be the same date. This saves you from sending home
constant reminders.
Note: If their date hits on a weekend, then they can bring in a snack at the end
of the month.
