Instructions

1. Wrap yarn around the middle of a large piece of tissue paper and tie a
knot. It should look like a butterfly. Make as many as you need.
2. Throw the butterflies into the air.
3. Invite the children to try and catch the butterflies in their arms before
the butterflies land on the ground.
4. Do this activity for as long as children are interested. This is a great eyehand
coordination activity.
Encourage the children to pretend they are butterflies flying.
