Instructions

1. Cut card stock or tag board into 4" x 6" (10 cm x 15 cm) pieces.
2. Use one card for each song or fingerplay.
3. On one side of the card, draw a picture that represents the song (or glue a
magazine photo to it). On the other side, write the words to the song.
4. Laminate the cards or cover them with clear contact paper for durability.
5. The cards will allow any adult to participate in song time, and the children
can also use the cards independently for a pre-literacy activity.

For each monthly theme, use an 18" x 11" (27 cm x 45 cm) piece of tag board
to make up a large song and fingerplay card related to the theme.
