Large map of the world Small pieces of paper

Markers Tape or putty for mounting

Meteorologist's stick, optional

Instructions

1. Discuss the weather and how and where peoplefind out about the weather for the day. Explain tothe children that the job of meteorologists is totrack and predict weather.

2. Place the large map on the board.

3. Show the children some examples of how to draw types of weather: snow, sun, rain, windand clouds.

4. Let children draw weather on small cards and mount them on the map.
